The festival will be held from August 20 to August 24 in Hakodate, organized by the World Music and Dance Festival Committee. This festival will be the first to bring large numbers of overseas performers to a single event in Hakodate. There will be four "Admission Free Stages" from 20 to 23 in Motomachi Park, and a showpiece finale in the Citizen's Hall (Shimin Kaikan) on August 24th. With over 150 overseas performers, the event will make this summer unforgettable in Hakodate. In addition to the main stages, there will be numerous workshops and fringe events at several sites.
